If you want to avoid darning in all the ends after knitting, google for „Weavin‘ Stephen“.

If you have a high contrast between colour B and C and you want to avoid the blips at the colour change, just do only knit stitches in the first row of pattern Sequence Stripes.

Gauge unblocked: 27sts x 48 r
Gauge blocked: 27sts x 39 r

Color A: light blue (47g) (1 g = 4,3 m)
Color B: dark blue (48,8g)
Color C: light grey
Color D: mauve

Tip: Color A 36,3g: 10,7 g => 46 m

Increasing:
Color A 30,6 g: 5,7 g => 24,5 m
Color B 44,9 g: 3,9 g => 16,8 m

Sequence Stripes:
Color C: 2,1 g => 9,0 m
Color D: 1,6 g => 6,9 m

Stockinette/Garter Stripes:
Color A: 6,5 g => 28,0 m
Color B: 4,5 g => 19,4 m

Real use of yarn
light blue: 47g + 23,4 g = 70,4 g => 303 m
dark blue: 33,9 g => 145,8 m
grey: 15,7 g => 64,4 m
mauve: 11,7 g => 48 m
There is a difference to the usage in the form above, because none of the balls actually had 50 g, they all weighted less. So to get the right amount of left over in my stash, I had to use slightly different numbers.
