Notes

I loved knitting this shawl so much so I have started another staright away :-)

I need to block this one though and photograph.

This is one of those projects when you start knitting it, it looks disappointing, all I can say is persevere when you block it, it looks out of this world!!! I finished my first summit about two weeks ago and have only just got round to blocking it. I wasn’t looking forward to blocking as I thought I would have to pin all the individual ‘waves’ luckily however just pinning the edges was enough.

It is so pretty and so much bigger than I thought it would be. I am making my second one in Kauni in greens and yellows and then I have wool already for a third. I think they will make great Christmas presents.

Very easy to knit but very impressive to look at. I will add some more photos of it being worn soon.

13/11 I wore my beautiful shawl out last night and my dear friend took some photos of me wearing it, I added my Clemency Corsage as a shawl pin which I think really worked well. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am with this project :-)))))
