I have the yardage called for, in a three color handspun gradient. The weight is a bit lighter, so went down to a size 6 needle, and I am going to make it “bigger” than the pattern calls for, hoping to use all the yarn and get roughly the same size shawl.

If my calculations are right, as long as I wind up with a multiple of 12 plus 5 at the start of each lace section, I should be OK.

My calculations weren’t right. It should be 14 + 9. Luckily I threw in a lifeline before I started the lace. Ripped back to that and did a little tinking.

1st lace section started with 191 stitches, ended at 223.

Second lace row at multiple of 14+11

Third at multiple of 14+1.

Finished the knitting on October 26, hope to block it soon.
