in seed stitch with larger needles
Notes

Gauge was too tight so had to size up a needle size

Plan minor changes by adding stripes to the lower section of the cardigan knitted straight- replacing garter stitch sections with coloured stripe. May need to adjust colour change rows to avoid colour jog

18-08-2021

Two edits to the pattern for the straight section:

  1. Replaced row 1 of the moss stitch with knit all stitches, to avoid colour jog when changing colour, then carried on with rows 2 - 8 moss stitch

  2. Moss stitch as specified in the pattern seems incorrect for rows 7 and 8 as it leads to a the last 4 rows being a K1P1 rib rather than moss stitch - to fix this I replaced rows 7 and 8 with P1K1 (row 7) and K1P1 (row 8)

Another minor change from pattern when knitting pocket top - I knit in garter rather than rib as I thought it would look better / flow better from the cardigan
