Great slipper pattern, will definitely be making more of these (and hopefully learning from my mistakes!)

Mods:
c/o 74 using the wide chart for a bigger sized slipper (US 11)
Triple stranded sole for stability
Used basaltimum’s notes for a more manly shape
Cast off using US14 to avoid a too-snug foot opening

These came out a bit larger than they probably should have (17.25” from toe to heel), being that it took so much (SO MUCH) felting to get them down to the US 11 I wanted. I suppose the upside is that now they can be machine washed without further shrinkage…

Additionally, although my cast off was fine elsewhere, the “manly tab” I created with short rows pulled once felted and would have benefited from an even looser cast off. I was able to mostly remedy it with a lot of tugging and some snipping, but will try something different next time.
