decrease

Red
pick up 20 stitches across side
work 12 rows stockinette stitch
decrease at the beginning and end of each RS row until 6 stitches remain
bind off

count 24 stitches around back of hat and repeat on other side

make pom pom with all three colours
use extra red to make a couple of tassles on each earflap
