Knitted bottom up so had to adjust the directions accordingly. I didn’t knit a double neck band.

I didn’t like the raglan lines so I changed them, too, so that there was only (not counting the center raglan stitches) 7 sts wide at the top of the sleeve instead of 15 sts and at the top of the front and back there was 25 sts instead of 17sts.

Because I used a different yarn I changed the needle to get the guage of the recommended yarn.

I ran out of yarn just before starting the bodice and had to buy more but wasn’t able to get the same dye lot. It is quite noticeable so I am VERY disappointed in that.

BODY:

Tubular Cast on the 3 set up rows with a needle size 6 mm for 164 stitches.

Change to 7mm needle and work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 3”

Change needle to 8mm and work 1 round in stocking stitch while decreasing 30 stitches evenly spaced. k5, k2tog, (k3, k2tog) x 14 times, k7 for both the front and the back (164 - 30 = 134 stitches)

Knit stocking stitch for 14”

Cast off 12 stitches for each under arm 55 sts for front and 55 sts for back.

SLEEVES:
Tubular Cast on the 3 set up rows with a needle size 6 mm for 40stitches.

With needles size 7 mm work rib (knit 1, purl 1) for 16 rounds / 3”.

Place a marker for BOR.

Change to 8mm needles and Knit in stocking stitch adding 1 stitch at beginning of round (41 st)
Knit 3 more rounds.

Cast off 12 st for under arm. (35 stitches)

Work the other sleeve in the same way

BODICE
On 8mm needles you will line up sleeve, front, sleeve, back 180 stitches

You will have the left sleeve 35+ the front 55+ the right sleeve 35 + the back 55= 180 st

Knit 1 round while knitting 2tog joining the sleeves to the front and back where they meet (176 st)

Knit 1 round

Raglan markers are pm, I st, pm, 31 sts for left sleeve, pm, 1 st, pm, 55 sts for front , pm, 1 st, pm, 31 sts for right sleeve, pm, 1 st, pm, 55 sts for back. (176 st)

In the instruction where you decrease 4 st you only make the decreases on the front and back pieces… not on the sleeve sides of the raglan markers. For the rounds instructing to decrease 8 stitches you make the decreases on both sides of the raglan markers.

HOW TO MAKE THE RAGLAN STITCH DECREASES:
Knit to 2 stitches before the markers, knit 2 together, slip marker, knit 1, slip marker, slip 1 stitch knit ways, slip 1 stitch knit ways, knit the two stitches together through the back loops.

Rnd 31 knit all stitches while decreasing the 4 stitches of the right and left sleeve markers up to 2 stitch before the 1st turn and turn
Rnd 32 purl back to 2 stitches before the second turn and turn
Rnd 33 decrease the 4 stitches for right sleeve raglan and continue knitting to the beginning of round.

Knit one more round satisfying the short row stitches.

Final neck stitch count is …. 1 raglan stitch, 7 left sleeve, 1 raglan stitch, 25 front, 1 raglan stitch, 7 right sleeve, 1 raglan stitch, 25 back (68 stitches)

NECK BAND
Change to 7mm needles and knit 1x1 ribbing 5 rounds.
Change to 6mm needles and knit 1x1 ribbing 1 round.
