This pattern does not call for short rows at the neck line ribbing. In retrospect, I wish I had used short rows to raise the back. I’m not crazy with the fit around the neck.

Finished measurements:
Chest measurements: 49”
Full length: 26”
All measurements in charts are in cm.
NEEDLES:
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 7 MM
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 4.5 MM
DROPS CIRCULAR NEEDLE SIZE 5 MM
13 stitches in width and 16 rows vertically in stockinette stitch
NECK EDGE:
Cast on 92 stitches on circular needle size 4.5.
Change to 5mm needle and work rib in the round = knit 1/purl 1 for 4 cm = 1½“.
Beginning of round is at right shoulder at the back. Insert 1 marker after the first -29- stitches on round (= approx. mid front), measures piece from this marker.
YOKE:
Change to circular needle size 7 MM. place markers on each side of the 4 raglan center sts without working the stitches by slipping the stitches:
PMs around first stitch, count 11 stitches (= sleeve),
Place markers on each side of the next stitch for the second raglan , count 33 stitches (= front piece),
Place markers on each side of the next stitch for the third raglan stitch, count 11 stitches (= sleeve), Place markers on each side of the next stitch for the fourth raglan stitch, 33 stitches remain after last marker (= back piece).
Work in stockinette stitch in the round and increase for RAGLAN on each side of the raglan stitch markers 20 times in total = 252 stitches.
Continue with stockinette stitch without increases until piece measures 10¼“ from marker mid front. Now divide yoke for body and sleeves.
DIVIDING FOR BODY AND SLEEVES:
AT THE SAME TIME as next round is worked divide yoke for body and sleeves as follows: Work 2 stitches in stockinette stitch (= belongs to back piece), slip the next 49 stitches on a strand for sleeve, cast on 10 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve), work 77 stitches in stockinette stitch (= front piece), slip the next 49 stitches on a strand for sleeve, cast on 10 new stitches on needle (= in the side mid under sleeve) and work the last 75 stitches in stockinette stitch (= back piece). Finish body and sleeves separately.
BODY:
174 stitches. Insert 1 marker in one side of piece (= in the middle of the 10 stitches that were cast on under sleeve). Work until marker, round begins here and work in the round.
Work stockinette stitch until piece measures 23” from marker mid front.
Switch to circular needles size 5 MM work rib while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 58 stitches evenly p1, k1, p1, M1L x58 on 1st round = 232 stitches.
When rib measures 1½“ in all sizes, bind off with knit over knit and purl over purl.
Sweater measures 26” from marker mid front and approx. 25” from the top of shoulder.
SLEEVES:
With needle size 7 MM and pick up 1 stitch in each of the 5 of stitches cast on under sleeve, place a BOR marker, pick up 1 stitch in each of the NEXT 5 of stitches cast on under sleeve, slip the saved 49 sts (5+5+49= 59 stitches). Slip the first 5 sts again to the BOR marker.
Work in stockinette stitch in the round on needle - AT THE SAME TIME when sleeve measures ¾“ (5rounds) from division.
Next round decrease mid under sleeve – 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows:
Work until 4 stitches remain before marker thread and knit 2 together, knit 4 (marker thread is in the middle of these 4 stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 2 stitches Decrease 1 stitch on each side of marker thread as follows:
Work until 4 stitches remain before marker thread and knit 2 together, knit 4 (marker thread is in the middle of these 4 stitches), slip 1 stitch knitwise, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over stitch worked (= 2 stitches decreased).
Decrease as follows: Decrease 2 stitches every 1¼“ (7 rounds) 8 times in total =(16+1) - 59 = 42 stitches.
Work until sleeve measures 13¾” from division.
Check for length… I needed 14 more rounds.
Switch to double pointed needles size 5 MM and work 1x1 rib while AT THE SAME TIME increasing 14 stitches evenly p1, k1, p1, M1L x 14 on 1st round = 56 stitches..
When rib measures 1 1/2”, bind off with kitchener bind off. Sleeve measures approx. 15¼“ from division.
