30.5.2016: finished the ribbing and sew in ends. happy to have finished this lovely project finally. after steaming (not yet washed) the fabric went so much smoother and even. i love the look and the feel.

24.5.2016: decided to take 3,0 mm needles. This looks better and just right

23.5.2016: Took up after hibernating 6 years. Raveled back to before ribbing to ensure an even gauge. Try to knit with 2,75mm needle. Before 3,5mm. Hopefully it will not be too dense then.

30.03.2010: picked up this project again after so many other things which I wanted to finish first. But now I have an open mind for it. I started the body and first had to copy the pattern twice to mark the decreases with a red pencil to find my way.

4.01.2010: yarn arrived, and I started the ribbing. I am not used to change colors every two or three rounds but it seems to be a fun and interessting project so far.

as soon as the yarn arrives I want to start this project.
