This pattern is out of a 1943 Minerva Yarn pattern book. I had to change the gauge in order to get the size to come out correctly. Really pretty in person. The pictures just don’t capture it.

The blanket is for a future baby not yet conceived and/or born (hence the name). I just wanted to make one ahead to be ready :)

I entered this into a local fair and won a blue ribbon!

Sept. 19 - Finished the fringing (finally). I entered it into a fair and hopefully it’ll win a blue ribbon :)

Aug 14 - Found out a couple weekends ago that my brother and sister in law are having their first child. Now I really have to finish the edging!

Feb. 28th - Done with the blanket just need to crochet an edging around it. I’m hoping I have enough yarn left for the edging specified since it’s so pretty.
