Notes

I was initially dubious about the gauge I got with the yarn/needles looking too “flabby”. But the more I work with it the more I like the fabric. It’s very flowy and light for worsted weight. I think I’ll enjoy the finished product.

Alterations I made:

  • Slipped the first stitch purl-wise (seamed version) on each row to make the edge neater and to aid in seaming later.

After a long hiatus, I picked this back up to finish it. I finished the back last night. Warmer weather is here in Boston and this sweater will be great for spring and air conditioning.

Finished seaming the shoulders and side seams last night. Also added the neck.

This morning I picked up stitches for one sleeve and into the first decrease.

Super fast now that I’m making it a priority to work on it.

This is the comfiest sweater I have ever made for myself. I will be wearing this A LOT and probably making more.
