Finished, chose some nice matching buttons. I love this cardi, it’s so cosy and such a perfect fit…I can’t believe I knitted it, this never happens! ;oP

Look how long I left this lovely cardi before sewing it up! This is how unconfident I am with seams. However yesterday I did one sleeve and the side, and actually it looks ok. I was put off before when I attached sleeves to a big bulky jumper and they came out lumpy and just ick, this seems to lie a lot better. Next sleeve is tonight. I tried one sleeve on, it’s so warm and snuggly.

Looking good so far, have just picked this up as an occassional evening knit, it grows really fast! Only half on the last sleeve left to go, and then the dreaded pressing and seaming (I am shite at seeming!)

The results are very neat and the wool matches in gauge almost exactly, so I am hopeful for an excellent fit!
