Notes

As time goes on, I become increasingly disenchanted with this top. The neckline reeeally bothers me, among other aspects of it. Oh, well!

Before, the fabric just hung straight down from the ribcage and looked boxy and frumpy. I cinched the back, though, and now it looks much better. I also did some brown crocheted edging along the inside of the neckline and straps, but you can’t see it too well unless you’re angled right.

I frogged this eight different times. I promised myself that this would be nearly perfect, so I had to rip out anything that didn’t fit right or whatever.

The name comes from a combo of “champagne”, for prettiness, shinyness, and the yarn colorway, and “chocolate”, because everyone says the colors remind them of chocolate.
