Notes

Update: I machine-washed and -dried it (inside-out), and it was the best thing I could’ve done for this. It got softer and drapier, while maintaining stitch definition, size, and colors. AND no pilling or shedding at all!

I’ve worn it out for a few times, and it hasn’t pilled or shed(ded?). What a well-behaved sweater! The way people bash Wool-Ease, I expected this to turn into a shapeless floofball after one wear. It is sort of shapeless, but not horrifyingly.

I love it! It fits me well, although it is shorter than planned, but since I layer it over something, it’s not too bothersome. I can wear it with jeans, over a dress I have, or with a skirt.

I should have done waist shaping in the back, but I thought it would be too small at the time, and I didn’t realize my mistake until I was at the shoulders. I had done so much and didn’t want to frog all the way down. It’s a little baggy in the back-waist area, but I can live with that.

This was my first sweater constructed in two separate pieces. I worked the sleeves and collar on two circs at a time (a first), and I like it SO MUCH more than dpns, which I’ve used and used and still don’t like. I don’t get ladders now!
