Notes

Extremely quick! Would have been finished sooner if homework didn’t exist. These are so warm and cozy, exactly what I was going for. Overall, I like them. They just seem a little strange-fitting in the toe area, but too bad.

I was a few rows away from binding off the first sock, when I realized that it was too big after the heel turn. (Too many increases.) So I frogged everything up to the heel, and reknit it.

I basically followed the pattern from my Licorice Socks, but with adjustments for gauge and some improvements. Like, I did two sets of short rows to turn the heel, instead of just one. I also did all my shaping front and center, in a cool-looking design rather than evenly spaced. I hope the recipient will like them when Christmas rolls around!
