June 25, 2010: Update: SOLD! At the garage sale, to the same person who bought my Autumn Shrug. Hahaha

Going to try to sell this at our garage sale. It’s just too bright (and short) (and uhhh) for Toria or me.

Second top I ever made. It started as an experiment, but was turning out so well I finished it. It was my first venture into seed stitch and picking up stitches, and both worked out great. However, my sizing was off, but my sister liked it, so it’s hers now.

I finger-crocheted the straps and tied them on (rather sloppily).

I accidentally did a few purl rounds just after picking up the stitches (no idea why), so that’s why there’s an empire-waist raised line type thing. I like the top better with it, though. I also started doing the top in seed stitch, but then switched to moss stitch partway through. It looks kinda cool!
