I tried to design these like the knitted dance shorts I always wanted, and they came out … not exactly like those, but pretty close. The ribbing at the top is kind of messy-looking, because I was trying to do decreases and stuff. Also, the leg joins are a little sloppy, due to my lack of hole-patching skills, but it isn’t too obvious. Overall, I’m happy with these -- they’re comfy, they fit me, they’re an AWESOME color, and they were quick to knit. Although they are very, very low and short. These were a test, so I wanted to use the smallest amount of yarn possible. I won’t be wearing these out in public. (-:

I knit the size B shorts in the Dance style, and my hip measurement is 33.5 inches.

P.S. Sorry about my not-so-perfect pointe poses -- those shoes are so worn out, it’s basically like standing on tiptoe on the floor, cuz there’s barely any shoe left at the toes. Plus, I was rather cold out there.
