I keep getting unhappier with this the more it sits around. I want to gift it to someone, but I’d feel bad. This is such an awkward garment.

First three photos are of the shrug worn “upside down”, and the last four are of it worn the usual way.

Wow, this turned out completely NOT how I’d planned. This yarn is so pretty, and it’s perfect for the design. The shrug bubbles under the arms, and just fits allover wonkily.

I was thinking about the Twinkle Pacifica Jacket, which you can turn upside down for a whole new look. The original of this fits like a usual shrug; upside down, it’s shorter in the back, with a large, open collar that folds over.
