Shrunk more than anticipated. I might unravel it and recycle the yarn into something better.

I’ve been planning on knitting a nautical-inspired piece for, hm, about two years now (every time I shop at Forever 21 I force myself not to buy one of the striped cardigans cuz I tell myself “I’m going to knit that”), and I’m finally doing it. It sprang about on a summer day when I thought, I haven’t knitted in months. I want a sweater. I have a yarn shop gift card. Let’s go. I swept by the store, bought the most perfect yarn, came home, sketched designs, and began. Simple as that.
