First ever socks.

Cast on each cuff separately before knitting with magic loop. Wanted to give up at cast-on stage ‘cos it was very fiddly (first time knitting with 2.25mm and fingering weight yarn). Used Tilly Buddy’s stretchy cast on.

Never, ever thought I’d ever knit one but I’m really proud of the way it turned out. I think I prefer them a little more snug (I’ve only got my shop-bought bamboo socks to compare them with though).

I don’t quite like the 1x1 rib, I think I’d use a 2mm (or another kind of ribbing) needle next time but they FIT. YAY!!!

Wore them to work today, and kept expecting them to roll down, but they stayed put.

And I found the book very informative.
