What a great hat! Used two strands of worsted weight wool and kept stitches loose on a larger needle to get a gauge of 3.5 st/inch. I wish this pattern had a proper gauge, but I got a good idea of what to aim for from Anglerfish’s Capucine Hat.

Stalled before the crown shaping because I’m lacking 6.0 mm dpns. :( (12/10: Never mind, figured it out using two sets of circular needles!) Completed hat, and just have to do the braids and block it.

Came out a bit small, but I’m hoping blocking will bring it up to the size I want.

ETA Jan 4, 2016: Uh, this went into hibernation because I don’t even know why. I sat down tonight and finished it off in about a half-hour, and now I’m just waiting for it to dry.

I did braids instead of tassels on the sides, like how LeftyLeah did hers. The last picture shows the true colours.
