The directions for the neck/armhole/shoulder shaping on the left front are a bit confusing…and I am an experienced knitter! We’ll see how the fronts turn out. So far, I’m enjoying this pattern.
Update, one and a half sleeves completed…second front and neck ribbing remain to be finished. I blocked the first two pieces to see how the handspun would behave..so far so good.
Sweater is complete…seams sewn, ends woven in, blocking on the spare bed!
If I were to do this pattern again, I would make sure that the cables on fronts and back lined up at the shoulders and I would construct the pockets a bit differently so that less seaming would be involved.
The directions were not the greatest so I wouldn’t recommend this for a beginner.
The color shifts are unintentional…the fiber that I purchased was light and dark, depending on how much dye was absorbed, and then the yarn itself depended on what part of the ginormous batt I chose to spin. This was an adventure indeed.
