27 October - Onto the elephants. I wish I had a lighter blue or blue green (aquarius, oohm, where are you?) but Kuken is a good choice, they will stand out!

26 October - 1 repeat of hearts. Probably could have just stuck with 4 repeats of hearts, but never mind.

25 October - 1 repeat of hearts.

October 2012 - pregnancy hibernated my colourwork inclination but it is now time to finish this baby. I’ve decided on Kuken for the flowers, which are magically turning into elephants.

If this doesn’t kick up my colourwork skills, nothing will.

I recharted the hearts pattern to reduce the number of really long floats - now the hearts alternate upside-donw and right-way-up. I’ll do 10 rows of hearts to add a bit of length.

I also modified the central pattern to cut out the longest floats.

The hearts are Terra de Siena and the middle pattern will be Wasabi - still deciding on the colour for the flower pattern.
