Notes
  • While I’ve done lots of crocheting of granny squares, this is my first project involving connecting motifs as I go. I actually have no idea if I’m joining the motifs correctly; the Bernat instructions aren’t the easiest to comprehend.
  • I’m using the pattern from the yarn label, but it’s also available for free at the Bernat website.
  • The yarn is super soft, and I hope it stays that way after washing. PS--I listed it as DK, but the label says “sport DK.” Since it was bought at a dollar store, it may very well be that the yarn is discontinued.
  • I am dreading having to weave in all the ends of these motifs at the end of this. I wish there was a way I could have crocheted over them, but with the location of where the yarn breaks at the end of each motif, this doesn’t seem possible.
