I’m having some serious issues with this pattern. I believe that when referring to the round increases, the pattern should read (3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) and not (3 dc, ch 3, dc).

Also, in Round 11, I believe you would be ch 1, dc in next ch-1 space, ch 1, 3 dc in next ch-1 space 4 times, not 5 times.

While the pattern calls for an 5 mm H-8 hook, I’m using a 4 mm G hook instead--not sure how I’m supposed to count 24 sts and 9 rows in a granny square pattern for gauge. On round 24 so far.

Update 9/19/12--Almost done! On row 8 of the ruffle border. Not crazy about the mesh stitch instructions on the first and second sides. Not sure if I’m messing up the turning chains on the end or if the instructions aren’t that concise. That said, I’m regretting not having used the H hook, but that mistake is solely attributable to me. I just felt the work I did with this thread and the H hook made my stitches look deformed and sloppy…
