Renamed this “Not Penny’s Boat” because I watched so many episodes of LOST while knitting it.

January 25th - I’m about halfway through the final section, and I think I’m loving this. Not sure, though. It’s so hard to tell how the colours are going to work together when it’s all bunched up. I’m already thinking about maybe doing a summer shawl, in lighter colours, and maybe in linen or cotton.

Really enjoying knitting it, though. Happy, happy garter stitch!

And I’m using Kollage’s square needles with the really flexible cord. I’m in love with these needles. I wish they were available as an interchangeable set.

Feb 2: just finished the picot trim. It took me about 6 or 7 hours total just for the final bind off. Crazy. But worth it. The picot looks gorgeous.

It’s not even blocked yet, and it’s already about 6’ long. It’s a beast. I love it.

Now, to figure out a way to block this monster-shawl rally.
