Update III: Glad I bought another skein! I wanted it to be really loose and drapey, so ended up knitting an extra 4 or 5 inches length on it. Sewed it up with a mattress stitch that barely shows.

I absolutely love how this hangs. It’s a great project for a beginner - easy to knit, can be adapted to any type of yarn, you can learn some good seaming techniques, and it’s a flattering garment on a lot of different body shapes, so you have something really flashy to show for it at the end.
