Notes

Starting a new test for Frank ORandle. I had intended to using these colors for the last test I did for Frank and somehow that turned out very orange. So yes it’s purple this time! :)
Let me start off by saying two of the yarns I used are from AC MOOR. Some of you may not have a store near you so… the Plum purple I used is the same as RRSS Dark Orchid and the Lovely Lavender is the same as RRSS Orchid. :)

Starting out with a size J hook and moving to a size I after the beginning section. Frank divides his testers into two groups. The first group is to do the same changes using the same number of colors. The second group can use as few or as many colors and do changes anyway they choose. I am in the second group. I am using six colors and am not changing as often in places. I wanted it to look a bit more solid. I think this pattern would lend itself well to any number of colors. As in all of Frank’s patterns, counting is very important. This project will get to be very large and frogging is really going to hurt.
Heads up on round 6 and again on round 9. The corners are different. There will only be three dc in each corner instead of four as in previous rounds.
This has been a real easy pattern so far… Maybe to easy! I was moving along very quickly. I didn’t take my own advice and did not count as I should have. I missed a stitch on round 24 and didn’t discover it until I started round 30. If I had counted I would have caught it sooner. Frogging stinks!
Be sure to take a look at round 24. The corners are different. The long side will have one less stitch.
Stitch markers are a handy thing to have for round 48.
It can be real easy to miss a stitch in round 58. Be sure to count here.
Once again, really watch your corners in round 70. They are different!
I just finished today… 1-23-2016 This is huge. Mine came out 76x99
Just as an FYI… purple really shows cat hair. :)

The one thing I would really like to stress about this pattern is watch the corners. A lot of them are different. Read them carefully.
