Color work on a purl row! Intense.i kept looking for tutorials on using both hands and couldn’t find one. (I’m a thrower.) Eventually I just alternated dropping each yarn with my right hand. I paid strict attention to keeping each color above and below, no crossing, and it wasn’t bad at all.

I enjoyed knitting this. It’s very big for Ozzy but she’ll grow into it. That’s my mantra for all the grandchildren sweaters!

I like the Italian bind off, it’s worth the time spent sewing it. And I learned to carry one color up the stripe of the alternating color. Much untwisting of yarn skeins but worth it to avoid weaving in more ends.

Sweater is blocked and buttons sewn on. Gauge is different than swatch. Flat stockinette for body is 21.5 stitches on size 6 birch needles, 27 rows. For sleeves in the round it’s 23 stitches, 34 rows.
