Turned out cute! I started with a ch 281 to make it twin-bed size. It took about 8 or 9 skeins of the purple stuff (which was a smaller skein in the first place).

Ch 286
Sc in first ch. ch 1, sk 1, sc. Repeat ch1, sk1, sc until there are 10 sc.

Ch 2. Sk 1, Sc.
Continue with ch1, sk1, sc until there are 10 sc since last Ch2.
Sk 2, sc.
Continue with ch1, sk1, sc until there are 10 sc since last Sk2.
**
Repeat from ** ** to end of ch.
Turn, sl st into last ch1 sp from prev row, ch 1, sc into same ch1 sp as sl st, continue with pattern.
8 rows of one color, then 8 of another, repeating, ending with same as first color.
