This hat / beanie has been designed for a friend’s son, who loves going on treks and arranges adventure tours too. The young man, like the wave, is a calm, easy-going person – who slowly broke all ‘moulds’ that ‘society’ creates (for us) and made a ‘different life’ for himself.

He’s off on yet another adventure, and could use this warm hat.

This pattern uses basic sts and can be attempted by an advanced beginner. It is a not-too-difficult st rep. The difficulty is due to the two colours. Come along and try it :)

This pattern has been tested using :
a) 4-ply acrylic, Oswal Mills ; 4.5 mm crochet hook ; 25 gms /105 yds EACH of two colours ;

b) Caron Simply Soft and Pound of Love; 4.5 mm crochet hook ; Took about 4 hrs ;
