I’ve had this skein of yarn bungling around the house for a while and since earflap hats were requested by the soon to be college student, I thought this would make a neat hat.

I have the pattern for this hat written up, need to test it out to make sure I didn’t do anything silly. The flower is #142, Damask Rose, p 151 of the Vogue Knitting Stitchionary 4, Volume 4 Crochet
