Tried casting on with sport weight and a size 2 as called for in pattern. Way to small. Maybe I’m too tight a knitter. Switched to this yarn with a 4 needle and it is a good size.

I cast on with the tubular cast on from YouTube and Eunny Jang. Did one row of k1 p 1 then 2 rows knit before chart instead of turning it over. This cast on gives such a beautiful edge and no bulk from fold over.
