I’m only a little past where the sleeve split but was trying to decide what I want on bottom. Example of loopy bind off on the bottom of cardigan with sz 3 needle to match sides. Only doing a 8 row icord. Auditioning it to see if I like it.

Also might try one of these. https://www.craftsy.com/blog/2016/10/how-to-bind-off/

Like this frilly one also. Would probably do about four rows of stockinette stitch before doing this.

So many bind offs….so little time.

Here’s yet another edge, with the blue ruffle. As I couldn’t figure a nice way to do it directly from the bottom of the sweater without leaving yo holes, and I didn’t want to sew,it on later so I cast on three times the stitches as the sample garter edge, knit six rows st. Then k2tog across row and p2 together next row spaced so I’d get the stitch count of the sample. I did a three needle bo making sure I placed the ruffles so the bind off was in back. Second blue ruffle shows close up of the back. I’ve really got to decide what edge to use. Also toying with an icord bo. Help! I like the blue with it too! In hindsight, I think I’d do two to 2 1/2 times the width if I use this yarn because it’s worsted weight. I have a chunk folded over on right side.

Kinda landed on the short row welted ruffle for the bottom of the sweater. https://www.creativeknittingmagazine.com/blog/?p=46

Picture shows almost done with bottom…..woohoo! Doing it as an applied border/trim.

I did icord bindoff on sleeves and an applied icord on neck.

To finish up, I soaked sweater in wool wash and laid flat to dry…..in front of heat vent blush
