My manager is leaving for an amazing opportunity. I am so excited for her! My brain was focused on all the things I needed to know for new duties

It didn’t really hit me that she wouldn’t be there until I started writting the last weekly report that she would receive from me. That’s when I started to ugly cry. I’m going to miss her so much.

But in a way I’m glad that our relationship can shift from manager-direct report to friends. That seed was there, but we couldn’t let it grow until now.

Anyhow, she got excited about this pattern at one point, so I made it for her. Including a dad joke because that is how the Jessica do.
