Whenever I asked Kate what we should give Daddy, she would say, “Crocodiles! A lot a lot of crocodiles!”

I agreed to one, which I tucked into a fancy measuring kit for cooking. It’s sad when I have to resort to subterfuge for both parties.

I added a hanger to make it an ornament. The color is so close, though, that I can see it becoming our family’s version of the Christmas pickle.
