.9 oz left, 3.5 in original skein, so 74% used. 445 yards x .74 = 329.30 for Knit Meter.

Not sure about the start and end dates. Ravelry populated some, guessing from the photos and that seems close enough.

Green yarn: used bits for lining of cuff, still have .6 oz left.

Pink yarn: Was a scrap from deep stash, used bits for accents. Tag says Purl Talk micro mini soxy sock, 75% SW merino/tencel/nylon.

I checked lables all three are superwash.

Pattern notes: Wanted to experiment with making the toe double think so began socks as follows:

CO 8, join in round (4 sts on each of 2 needles)
K 1 round

K1, M1R (pick up right leg of next sts on row below and knit), K2, M1L (pick up left leg of sts just worked, but on row below and knit), K1, repeat between stars once (6 st on each needle, 12 total).

052424 not certain I didn’t write M1L when I meant M1R and vice versa. Doesn’t matter, just be consistent.

Ok to switch to 3 or 4 needles when/if more convenient.

K 1 round.

Increase round:
K2, M1R, K2 (or K to 2 st from end of needle), M1L, K2, repeat * to * one time (first time: 8 sts/needle, 16 total).

K 1 round.

Repeat last 2 rows wil 12 st/needle (assuming two needles) or 24 total.

Increase round.
K 2 rounds.

Repeat last 3 rounds til 9 sts/needle (assuming FOUR needles by now), 36 total.

K several rounds plain until the oval being created appears it will be large enough after decreases to cover tops of all toes (about 28 rows?).

Decrease round:

K1, SSK, K to 3 st from end, K2tog, K2.

K 2 rounds

Repeat these 3 rows til 24 sts total.

Then decrease round, K 1 round, til 12 st total.

K 1 round.

SSK, K2, K2tog repeat between stars twice.

K 1 round.

Keep 8 sts live.

Set up for foot:

1) End w/live sts. K 1 from front needle and one from back needle together 4 x across.

Assuming 64 stst total needed for foot, less 4 sts that will be available at each end, need to pick up 56 sts. 56 divided by 2 is $28.

2) Pick up and knit 28 sts along first long edge.

3) Pick up 8 sts from other short end (4 from front, 4 from back), K 1 from front and 1 from back together across (4 sts).

4) P/u and K 28 sts from other long edge.

Place marker, knit in the round til heel.

I inserted a contrast color garter ridge for the first couple rounds of the foot (for decoration and to make toe replacement easier if needed).

Hint: to pick up at long edge, slide needle up between the front and rear column of sts, p/u about every other cross bar.
