Using left over yarn from Rachel’s shawl because I loved the colors and the hand so much. Pattern calls for fingering (5.5 sts/in), I’m using worsted-ish. My gauge looks to be about 5 sts/in. Killington is DK and Wizard is nominally bulky (weight 5 on wrapper), but is all air.

031223 4.5 oz of Killington and 3 oz of Wizard left after 3 full wedges (after row 14).

Only worried about the Killington as I have other balls of Wizard. So, 22 wedges from 3 to 25 took 1.5 oz. I have 2 x 1.5 left, so 2 x 22 more wedges or 44 wedges. 25 already plus 44 more = 69 wedges. Bummer, a bit short. Will hold my judgement, though, as I’m knitting at a larger gauge than pattern calls for and I may not need 78 wedges to feel happy. If I do…I’ll canibalize an old project that used this yarn.

I also note, that I have just a bit more than half a circle at 25 wedges.

I don’t know my yardage, but will use the 610 that the (fingering weight) project called for as my yardage for Knit Meter.

Next time, consider starting with smaller wedges and making them gradually larger…and have lots of yarn. More seems to be better for this project!
