After seaming up one side and adding on the first sleeve, I have decided that if/when I make this again, I will use a provisional cast on and the kitchener stitch for seaming up both sides and I will pick up the stitches to knit the sleeves directly onto the garment. (I’m not pleased with the look that regular seaming/whip stitching has produced.)
