5.18.16 I had a devil of a time matching the color repeats on this yarn. After unwinding and rewinding the balls five or six times, my only result was five grams that had been knotted at the factory coming loose. One false start later I decided that I simply could not cope with the color difference… I had one lovely sock with teal/neon green/neon yellow stripes, and one sock with royal blue and sky blue stripes. I unwound the second ball AGAIN and ended up setting aside at least 10 grams of yarn from the ball, but I now have the start of two matching socks. >.<

That blue/sky blue bit of yarn was one of the original socks before I frogged and reworked it. The far right bit is the 5 grams that was knotted and came undone, and the other two bits are my false starts whilst looking for the color repeat in the second ball.

5.30.16 I’ve just a couple more inches to so on the foot, then on to the toes.

6.12.16 Somewhat disappointed in this yarn. I hand washed the socks in cold water for the first time and the dyes bled profusely. The neon yellow was my favorite part of the colorway, and the socks ended up with only a small percentage which turned sunshine yellow after the first wash. The royal blue dye bled… I know the blue is the culprit because my hands were streaked with purple after washing the socks. After much swearing and a few soaks in cold water, I now have mostly neon yellow stripes with some sunshine yellow. Hopefully, the colors stay that way. :(
