Using 4-ply yarn so CO 120 st and incr to 144 (= 9 repeats)
Hat is less slouchy than original as I didn’t do any extra repeats to compensate for using 4-ply yarn.

unusual charting for decreases
Decreases are charted unusually. The ssk (left-leaning decr) actually uses the stitch to the left of the symbol too. Similarly, the k2tog (right-leaning decr) uses the stitch to the right of the symbol.
Double decreases are charted such that only the centre stitch is marked (i.e. adjacent squares are grey).
