This is a very detailed pattern. The total stitch count is given frequently which is very helpful. The instructions were all very clear.

I had never used the contiguous method before; the result is fantastic.

Tension trouble: I could get either stitch or row count but not both. I went for row count as the pattern instructions include shaping based on rows not measurements.

I knitted the 32/34 assuming the off-gauge stitch count would result in a smaller (narrower) size. It did. With a bit of blocking to open up the tulle stitch pattern my cardigan now measures 31” across the bust. Perfect.

Sleeves: because of my tension/gauge discrepancies I knit the sleeves flat and seamed them. I only knit 2” of ribbing for the cuff.
