Notes

Finally cast this project after I had told the Lorna’s Laces crew that I was making this in their sport-weight Shepherd Multi at TNNA June 2010.

Love both pattern and yarn. Great take-along knitting project for traveling because it is easy for a lace knitter “to read” what you have done so far to figure out where in the pattern you are.

Changes I did:

  1. I used the same 2mm size needle for the ribbing around the upper leg as for the heel flap and gusset. I like tight ankles. :)
  2. Being the anal person I am, I mirrored both the lace braid pattern and the decreases for each leg. IE, when you see SSK used for one leg, I used K2T for the other leg. Same goes for the lace braid.
  3. Only did 8 repeats for each straight leg instead of the number called for since I am quite short.
