The La Boheme yarn tore into my hands as I knit with it. I would have been done with the shawl much faster if I used another yarn.

This pattern makes weaving in ends as you go a breeze. I addressed the 2 strand yarn by knitting from the outside of the cakes instead from the centers. My Addi Lace needles were very much appreciated during this WIP!

Yarn left: 18 g of Starburst, 48 g of La Boheme.

Note: If I did this pattern again (which I plan on doing!) I would begin with a larger strip instead of the smaller one and knit it up until the skein was done. This way, all of the yarn is used up and no leftovers remain. But that is how I like to knit -- no yarn left. :)
