5th Sept 2011:
Started late at night and did 13 rows. Would have began earlier, but did not realize that I had to borrow my BFF’s hook. Since I only have 301 yards, I plan to knit the 64th row with beads at the sc to weigh it down.

6th Sept 2011:
Checked gauge and though my width gauge is correct, my row gauge is completely off by 1/2 an inch. Waaaay too tight IMHO. Going to restart with a 4.00mm hook. Decided not to add the beads and to figure a way to add the flowers.

11th Sept 2011:
Had finished all the rows and with 14 grams left was about to start on the edging when I decided to check to see how much yarn I needed for each flower. Ended up frogging back 8 rows to the last complete chart section to have 35 grams for the (resulting) 35 flowers. Note that you need 1 gram of yardage for each flower and I did not have 39 grams. To insure that I had enough yarn, I even shortened 20 of the 35 flowers by 4 chains. The result was 12 grams left over. Size: 12.5 inches by 32 inches unblocked.

12th Sept 2011:
Blocked measurements are 22 inches by 44 inches. Been wearing this shawl almost constantly since it finished drying!
