I adore this!

The swatch was done in Egret. I used 3.25mm/US3 needles in order to get gauge unwashed. After washing my gauge, the swatch is still close at 23sts by 35rows. As a precaution to my often loosening gauge while knitting, I plan on knitting the next smaller size and adjusting the pullover rounds as I knit it. This sizing adjustability is one reason why I love Ann’s patterns.

My yarn arrived! I decided to knit the pullover’s MC in Jack Pine while using the Driftwood as the CC.
Also, OWL proposed!

I am including this project as part of a 5-garment Detention OWL for Winter 2017. My plan is to knit as directed in the pattern from the increases before the straight waistline to the hem. I still need to weave in all the ends and wash/block.

September 21, 2017

I decided to follow my old rule of finishing 2 WIPs before casting on a major project. This pullover needs its body finished and should only take a weekend. Crossing paws that I get this done in time to wear for Hogsmeade Weekend on Sunday!
