Notes

This 1940’s caplet is a dream to make. The steps are written in a way that is great for a beginning “hooker” to not only translate into actions but to also understand crochet and its methodical making process.

It’s been a little while but I believe I added on a couple more rounds to the length as i preferred it to sit at the elbows. I personally find this more flattering and a little bit more practical.

If I was to teach someone to crochet I would use this pattern. I am a big fan of Debbie Stoller!

Finally finished this sat in bed last night. I decided to unravel the collar to make the tassels/ties. Looks more modern this way, perfect for my mum. She loves it! Taking it to Spain on her holiday!
