Using up my Kureyon stash. Pattern calls for 4sk of MC and 1sk of CC, I had to choose 3 different but similar skeins for the main color. Color changes in Kureyon are unexpected (and awesome!) so it doesn’t make any real difference. I will make this pattern again though, and use solid-color wools so I can plan the color scheme.

NOTE Next time, instead of a single strand of MC for the bottom per the instructions, use a double strand. The sides of the bag with the stranded pattern are thicker, especially when felted. The thinner, weaker bottom sags.

Top: After 4 wash cycles, the stitches are less distinct.

Bottom: Fresh off the needles. Yikes!

This is after 2 cycles in my washer. It is not a lot smaller and the stitches are still evident, so I’m sure it will shrink more and the fabric will get thicker and firmer with more blocking, but I’m happy with it as is.
