CO 54 sts
Cuff: Broken Rib Stitch by purlavenue.com

Increase 1 sts after cuff: 55 sts.
Started pattern with rounds 3 and 4. Enlarged chart by working round 1 two times -> more knit stitches.
After 12 repeats ended with rounds 3&4.

Heel flap: 27 sts, starting (and ending) with 3 garter sts. The ribs made of ktbl-sts from main pattern are continued as slip stitches.

Foot: 56 sts (Note to self: 54 would have been enough). Worked the foot in stockinette for better fit in my winter boots and, at home, in my birkenstocks … (In terms of pure looks, I would have liked the instep in pattern better).

Beautiful pattern for thick yarn!
