The Regia Jacqard Color yarn is a boring UGH! I made some socks from zillions of years ago for my sister. I discovered the leftover last year in an old tin can and since then wondered what to make out of it.

First I tried Overkill Socks, used the UGH! together with some plain blues and gray, frogged it because I didn’t like how the jacquard part came out (third to last pic).

Second attempt was patsy patchwork, here I was not happy about the color distribution (second last pic).

Third try was Smokey Zickzacks, where the jacquard part in the purl rows got on my nerves (last pic).

So I decided to go with the jacquard instead of working against it and created a sort of faux fair isle mixing in fair isle stitches not only into the jacquard rounds but on the other stripes too.
I like the pixelated look of it.

Used 21 gr for both wristies, unfortunately only 10 grams of the UGH!. Still 20 gr left. Sigh …
